ByggMind Beta Waitlist Privacy Policy

This policy covers only the ByggMind Beta waitlist signup, including its optional referrer program. It does not apply to the future beta product, which will have a separate policy. By signing up (with or without referrals), you provide GDPR-compliant consent for the uses described here, applicable across the EU including Germany and Sweden.

Data Controller

ByggMind Beta, a non-commercial solo developer project, is the data controller. Contact us at beta@byggmind.com for inquiries, rights requests, or complaints.

Data Collected

• Email address (required for signup).

• Optional referral data: A count of users you referred (e.g., "referred 3 people"), linked to your email for tracking invites. No identities of referred users are collected or visible to you.

No other data (e.g., names, IP addresses) is gathered. All data is processed via waitlister.me.

Purpose and Legal Basis

Emails are used exclusively for beta notifications (e.g., invites, updates). Referral counts reward successful sharing. Legal basis: your explicit consent via form submission (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). No marketing, analytics, or other purposes.

Data Storage and Sharing

Data stored only on waitlister.me servers (third-party processor; GDPR compliance ensured). No sharing with other parties or international transfers beyond EU standards.

Retention

Data kept until beta concludes: deleted if project lead declares failure; otherwise retained solely for follow-up invites (second beta or launch). Unsubscribe anytime via link for immediate deletion; referral data unlinks automatically.

Your GDPR Rights

Exercise free of charge at beta@byggmind.com (response within 1 month):

• Access, correct, or erase data (including referral counts).

• Restrict processing or object.

• Data portability.

• Withdraw consent anytime.

Lodge complaints with IMY (Sweden) or BfDI (Germany).

Scope and Changes

Primarily for Germany/Sweden but open globally, GDPR applies where relevant. No profiling or automated decisions. Updates notified by email. Last updated: February 3, 2026.
